Winter Tailor

She stitched the snow
each flake by flake
into a quilt the flowers
cowered under.

Ice jackets for the trees
were made -
a formal dance
as sunlight glistened.

  1. This is in such keeping for elves and fairies. I believe I told you, didn't I, that my mother proved the existence of elves to me at a very young age? Yeah, it's on my blog.

    But back to you. This poem should be read to small children every evening after a deep snowfall. Period. No discussion.
