An Imaginary Garden

I’d like to be that
Imaginary garden with
Prince toads and
Princess kisses on
The lily pad at dusk
Before the curse is
Permanent -
Leaving battle scars
Of mysticism.

  3. I really enjoyed the "s" sounds..."prince" through "mysticism". Last two lines were such a strong closer, too.

  7. How perfectly your verse addresses the image; and yet, the poem could stand alone as a creative and fantastical work.
