Love in Hyperbole

You touch my shoulder,
I touch yours –
Our whispers shake the ground.

A lean in and a kiss
With static sparks
And thunderclaps.

Biting gently all along
Your form as waves
Crash down beneath.

I enter as an asteroid
In an ocean,
Blanketing your world.

Crying, smoke from cigarettes
Heats and irrigates our earth
To bring new life.

You've found your way inside my head and now there's no way out!
