Lebron

It’s safe to say we died that day
Lebron lost and took his jersey off.

An image is a thousand words
And now, so suddenly a million tears.

In our hearts and minds he’s left already
Became a Bull that’s much less Cavalier.

In essence he was all that Cleveland was
And now a symbol for all that it has lost.

Lebron James is the factories
That left for China.

Lebron James is the prosperity
So long forsook.

Lebron James is the hopes and dreams
Now mired in a smog of urban poverty.
So long.
