The Death of a Child

we are so concerned
what's ours that we
forget what isn't;
thinking our ideals
more valuable than life.
"the greater good"
is not a law or bill of rights
it is our children and
thier ability to be whole
and not corrupted by the evils
that we should have slain.

  2. Yes we do forget that we are not always right and our way is not always THE way. Thank you for reminding us so beautifully,,,,

  3. Mmmmm yes. The ability to be whole. What in the hell does "whole" feel like? I wish I could drink the serum so I'll know it once achieved. I WILL achieve it :)

    1. I think "whole" is the lack of experience. We don't curse them to be "whole" forever, of course, just as long as we can.
