Like a Tree

Like a tree
I have stood my ground
And fallen.

The oak grows boldly
Never knowing of its fate
Becoming fire.

  8. Death is but the beginning. Death is just a change of address. I believe that absolutely. I also think inspite of the fire, an acorn escaped, rolled away and hid beneath something inpenetrable. It sprouted and grew and sheltered a gnome :)

  9. Enjoyed this so much. I relate to "Like a tree
    I have stood my ground
And fallen." as do many others. Most of us rise again though, onward and upward,,,,,,
