Red, White & Haiku! Happy 4th!

I bled red for you,
staining white sheet memories,
pillows blue with tears.

the rocket's red glare
two hearts consumed in night air
gallantly streaming

yearning to be free,
we were a retched refuse;
torch me one last time.

  3. Great ending line! Hope you had a good 4th. I didn't do anything but babysit the dog. Today the streets are littered with the remains of everyone's festivities.
