But Juliet, poor Juliet

Never woke back up.

He married Rosaline

And they get along,

Though she’s still celibate

And Romeo hardly writes for her.

Their counselor says Rosaline’s

Absence is symbolic of his mother's

And that same lack of affection,

As Romeo concurs:

This love feel I, that feel no love in this.
Dost thou not laugh?

And on they go, with Romeo a child,

Rosaline the dead-beat mom.

They seldom talk, less rarely listen

Scorning that they’re stuck together.
