There was a spider that

I wish I killed.

It was on her and

I backed away.

Should have been a better man.

There were times

Where I was selfish.

I could have offered

Her a drink.

There were nights I

Didn’t call.

And now the

Phone sits still.

Things remaining in

That speak to doubts
